Kerala Delights
Kerala is a charming South Indian destination that should be in every traveller’s bucket list. Adorned with the emerald backwaters, sprawling and lush tea estates, pristine hill stations, and azure Arabian Sea, Kerala tourism boasts numerous tourist places with which you will fall in love instantly.
Day 1–Cochin
Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station and proceed to the hotel. Visit to Fort Cochin and Mattancherry. Overnight at Cochin.
Day 2 - Cochin - Munnar
Morning after breakfast transfer to Munnar. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3 : Munnar
After breakfast to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady
Morning proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Then proceed to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). Stay in Thekkady
Day 5 : Thekkady - Kumarakam/ Alleppey
Morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakam/ Alleppey. By noon check in at the hotel . Afternoon do a couple of hours motor boat cruise through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. Overnight at Kumarakam/ Alleppey.
Day 6 : Kumarakam/ Alleppey – Kovalam
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kovalam and check into the hotel. Evening visit the famous Kovalam beach. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day7: Kovalam- Padmanavaswamy Temple
Morning after breakfast proceed for a tour of Trivandrum. Visit Napier Museum, Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Trivandrum Zoo. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 8 : Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam
Morning proceed for Kanyakumari from Kovalam (appx 3 hours drive). On arrival enjoy a boat ride to Vivekananda rock memorial and other places. Enroute visit Sachindram temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace.
Day 9 : Kovalam – Trivandrum
Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum airport/ station for onward journey
